When to Stop PoE Speculative Crafting: U4GM Tips

Make the most of Path of Exile's final Allflame days with tips for finishing challenges, selling currency and planning your stash for the next league.

Stop speculative crafting in PoE at least one hour before the confirmed Allflame cutoff, or earlier if the project threatens your remaining challenge budget. While POE currency may be available through a separate service, prioritize the resources already in your stash for the tasks you can finish.

Set a stop line before spending

A craft is speculative when its value depends on finding a buyer or completing an item before the event ends. Stop as soon as the remaining cost would leave too little for your planned maps, or when the likely sale cannot clear before the cutoff.

The supplied schedule places the end around November 9, 2026, at 13:00 PST, but that date and the proposed next-league timing are not verified here. Check the current event announcement and its time zone before setting an alarm; do not treat a projected date as a confirmed deadline.

Keep a separate reserve for the maps and scarabs needed to finish reachable challenges. Scarabs are map resources, so spending them on a low-priority run reduces the supplies available for your remaining objectives.

Choose the next activity by its deadline

Short challenges and existing stock take priority over an unfinished craft when the remaining session is tight. Use the following decisions before opening another map or spending on a base.

ActivityContinue whenStop when
Challenge mapsA reachable objective advances within the sessionRequired gear or encounters are out of reach
Speculative craftingThe cost fits the surplus and leaves time to sellIt draws from the mapping reserve or needs a last-minute buyer
Bulk salesBuyers respond at an acceptable priceA rushed offer falls below your chosen floor
Party challengesThe group can complete the objective reliablyRepeated failures consume the scheduled block

Write the replacement activity next to each stop line. If a costly map plan misses its progress target for two comparable sessions, switch to cheaper clears or a short remaining challenge instead of adding more scarabs.

Sell down without stranding the character

Review public stash tabs and separate quick-sale stock from items you are prepared to hold at a higher price. Adjust prices in stages, record actual sales, and keep enough supplies for the maps still on your list.

A visible listing is not the same as a completed sale. Check the tab after each trade and update your tally; do not count an asking price as currency received. If an offer is much lower than your floor, decline it rather than sacrificing the reserve just to empty the tab.

Open the challenge screen before a party session and note the exact objectives each player still needs. Agree on the map setup and a start time beforehand, then check the displayed progress after each relevant run. A boss the group cannot reliably defeat is a reason to change targets, not spend the entire block repeating the attempt.

Keep next-league planning separate

Stash labels can help organize existing items, but they do not move those items into a fresh league. Do not reserve current-league currency or leveling gear on the assumption that it will be available to a new league character; check the announced rules for the specific event and destination.

After the final session, record your challenge progress, completed sales, and the first task for your next login. Review your remaining POE currency orbs in the stash, protect the mapping reserve, and stop any craft that cannot reasonably finish before the confirmed cutoff.
